We have already written about the pros and cons of attending the BlackBerry Developer Conference and RIM has a great conference budget calculator on the site. Nevertheless if you are entrepreneur or student and don’t have access to a corporate expense account the following tips might be helpful for you.

Research in Motion, the company behind the BlackBerry smartphone, has two major events each year. The biggest one is the so-called Wireless Enterprise Symposium which happens once a year in Spring and the BlackBerry Developer Conference each Autumn. The next BlackBerry Developer Conference (also called DevCon) is just a few months away and you can already register online and get discounts on the full rate.

A little bit more than 6 months ago I have launched a small website called “Don’t Be Bored!” at http://www.bbhacker.com/dbb that is optimized for BlackBerry smartphones and displays funny pictures. After that app got blogged about on a few BlackBerry sites I have seen an huge traffic spike and since then I have seen a steady stream of several hundred visitors a day.

Come on, you know it: 2010 needs to be different. Whether you start a new habit, decide to break an old habit or if you  finally stop procrastinating and start  getting things done – 2010 will be the year to do it!.

There are just times when we are waiting for something or simply have nothing to do and don’t know what to do. These times of feeling bored are over now – at least if you have a BlackBerry.
