It has taken months after the initial announcement of the latest BlackBerry models, namely the BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9860 and Curve 9360,  until AT&T finished testing and made them available to their customers. It has been especially late considering that Research in Motion is currently experiencing drastic drop in sales of their BlackBerry models in the United States.

The long wait is over, AT&T has finished their testing and they are releasing the latest BlackBerry models this November, here is the official Press Release:

Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) announced today that a selection of premium apps worth a total value of more than US $100 will be offered free of charge to subscribers as an expression of appreciation for their patience during the recent service disruptions. The apps will be made available to customers over the coming weeks on BlackBerry® App World™ and will continue to be available until December 31, 2011.*

RIM has recently presented the name of their next operating system, the evolution of QNX will be named BBX. In April 2010 RIM announced that they will purchase QNX and develop the operating system into the next standard platform for all BlackBerry devices.
