Blackberry has been slow in adopting 3G in all of its mobile phones. This means that many Blackberry users are still left alone with EGDE connections and even people using 3G are waiting for more data performance for their Blackberry device.

The operating system on your smartphone is one of the central elements on a smartphone and with the recent improvements on Android and iOS from Apple, RIM and it’s BlackBerry starts to look old. But RIM is not sleeping and they have already geared up for a new and significantly improved version of the operating system for BlackBerry devices.

The first BlackBerry smartphone was introduced in 1995 and was the so-called Inter@ctive Pager (Those were the days when it was hip to have the @ symbol in your product name). Since these days a lot has happened in the mobile world and one can just wonder what the next years will bring.
