The essential point is to realize that you probably know already more than you need to know. Preparing and learning more in order to know more is probably preventing you from getting into action and starting to work towards your goals.

You don’t need to know everything in advance, you can also learn “on the fly” and “on the job”.

This problem which is called the Knowing-Doing Gap is one of the main reasons that people keep preparing (through learning, reading and discussing) and talking about their future but only rarely do something to pursue these goals. Learning more about what you want to achieve is too often just a way to procrastinate.

If you really want to achieve change and reach your goals in 2009 you need to get in action now. Otherwise 2009 is just another that passed by while you have been learning instead of doing.
